Google and DeepMind's Dream-RSI lets AI agents "dream" through past search runs to test new strategies without costly recomputation. In tests it matched or beat existing results, reducing iterations by up to a factor of 2.43. Notably, only the search strategy adapts while the underlying AI model stays unchanged — a lightweight path to agent self-improvement without fine-tuning.
