Qwen3.8-27B generates web apps at 1950 tokens/s with Cerebras, minus a real backend

QbitAI tested Qwen3.8-27B's viral "instant web app" trick. Engineer Alok paired it with Cerebras for 1950 tokens/s, building an offline "AI desktop" where typing a site name and era generates a full interface — a 1999 or 2045 YouTube, a Google homepage in 6.78 seconds.

Two hands-on tests: a data-analysis tool for a PM was built in 5 minutes, correctly cleaning data, computing metrics, charting conversion, and exporting Excel plus a summary txt. A 12306 ticket-booking page looked convincing with schedules, prices, and a success dialog — but had no real backend, data, auth, or payments. A convincing shell, not a product.

Verdict: prompt-to-webpage dramatically lowers the bar for small tools, but real-world delivery still requires backends. The author shares a reproducible setup using just an API key, without Cerebras.
