SwingCoach: an iPhone app that counts and grades your kettlebell swings on-device
rudrank · x · 2026-11-04
Developer Abdelrahman Eita released SwingCoach, a free iPhone app for the Russian kettlebell swing. Set the phone down, step back, and the camera counts reps live, gives spoken form cues, and lets you review each rep.
- Built because the author was tired of scrubbing workout videos and counting reps by hand
- Deliberately supports only one move: master the swing first, as most coaches advise beginners
- Optional Apple Watch integration for heart rate, calories and Apple Health
- No account, no video uploads, no ads, no IAP — all processing on-device
A lean one-person product built around a single well-executed use of device sensors.
