Rumored Opus 5.2 generates a full 5-minute Titanic film in pure JavaScript with three.js
dotey · x · 2026-09-19
A demo site (titanic-opus-5-2.vercel.app) claims the unreleased Opus 5.2 produced a complete 5-minute Titanic "film" in pure JavaScript using three.js, along with the full generated source: a modular multi-file codebase built on EffectComposer, UnrealBloomPass, BokehPass, SMAA/FXAA passes, plus ImprovedNoise/SimplexNoise, Reflector and Lensflare for ocean, lighting and depth-of-field effects.
dotey says he was skeptical until seeing the page himself, while noting Opus 5 is currently slow and Fable 5 unreliable. This is an unverified leak/demo — no official release date yet.
