ChatGPT can now convert an existing Chat conversation into a Work conversation

A Reddit user discovered that ChatGPT can convert an existing Chat conversation into a Work conversation: while asking it to build an Excel template, a popup appeared suggesting the switch, and agreeing migrated the whole conversation over.
The user had googled this a few days earlier and was told it wasn't possible, suggesting it's a recent, quietly shipped feature with no obvious announcement — it has to be triggered within a conversation.
