Neuralink patient Terry speaks in his own voice via brain-to-voice interface, powered by Grok Voice

Neuralink shared progress from its VOICE trial: participant Terry is using his implant to fine-tune a brain-to-voice interface. He first trained the algorithm by miming speech, then simply by thinking the words and hearing them rendered in his own natural voice.
The voice output is powered by Grok Voice, and the effort aims to restore communication for people who can't speak — one of the most concrete real-world cases of brain-computer interfaces for speech restoration.
