Meta ships SAM 3.1 API: detect, segment and track with a noun phrase, $2.50 per 1,000 images
Vjeux · x · 2026-09-19
Meta's Segment Anything Model 3.1 is now live on the Meta Model API. A single noun-phrase prompt detects, segments and tracks objects across images and video, returning detections, pixel-precise masks and identity-preserving video tracks in one call, on inference tuned for SAM 3.1's architecture.
Pricing is $2.50 per 1,000 images and $0.20 per 1,000 frames, sharing the same API surface, billing and auth as other Muse models. Open weights remain available on Hugging Face.
