MiniMax ref2v users report reference image bleeding into first frames
Jayuniue · reddit · 2026-11-04
A Reddit user reports a persistent issue with MiniMax ref2v (reference-image-to-video): the reference image itself appears in the first frame or lingers over a second before morphing into the intended scene. Despite following prompting formats, explicitly instructing the image be used only as reference, trying a plain white background, and using GPT md skill files for descriptive prompts, they can't eliminate the artifact and ask the community for workarounds.
