Link launches agent wallet for AI shopping in Canada, with per-purchase approvals

Link is rolling out its "give your agent a wallet" product to Canadian users, letting personal AI agents make online purchases without exposing payment credentials. The flow: the agent sends a real-time spend request (e.g. $180 hotel booking via Triplo), the user approves or declines in the Link app, and payment goes through one-time-use cards or shared payment tokens. Integration options include Link-CLI for custom agents like Claude Cowork and OpenClaw, plus native support in agent apps such as Muse and Grok Bot. Upcoming features include granular agent spending controls, digital-currency payment methods, and saved buying preferences.
