TypeSafe AI's new model Jev targets classification decisions in agent loops, claiming up to 200x faster inference and 400x lower cost than comparable LLMs. LangChain has already integrated and documented it with example code, and is hosting a livestream next Tuesday with engineer @sydneyrunkle on how Jev makes fast structured decisions, where it fits in the agent loop, and how to build an eval harness. Note: performance figures are vendor claims, pending third-party verification.
