Google refocuses its CC AI agent on helping families run their households

Per TechCrunch, Google is testing a family-focused version of its CC agent, which works across email, calendar, chats, and tasks: shared schedules, 'Your Day Ahead' briefings, signing permission slips, shopping lists, meal plans, and form-filling. CC started as a productivity agent and entered the Gemini app as 'Daily Brief' in May; the pivot comes as startups like Ollie and Fambot target household agentic AI.
