Anthropic taps Accenture for independent AI evals in $1B+ plan, skeptics mock its red-teaming chops

Anthropic announced a partnership with Accenture for independent evaluation of frontier AI, part of its commitment to embed evaluators in-house, with both companies pledging at least $1 billion over five years to build capacity. Quoting the announcement, nablatheta mocked the choice, scoffing at the idea that a consultancy whose website touts "360° value" has real expertise in red-teaming models, assessing alignment, and testing safeguards.
