Artificial Analysis released its streaming Speech-to-Text leaderboard and methodology. The AA-WER Streaming index is built on 8 hours of audio across three datasets (AA-AgentTalk 50%, VoxPopuli 25%, Earnings-22 25%), measuring transcription accuracy and time to final transcript after end of speech.
- Grok Voice Transcribe 2.0 pricing: $0.20/hour for streaming, or $3.33 per 1,000 minutes
- That sits just above Muse Voice Transcribe ($3), below Cartesia Ink-2 ($4), and roughly half the $6.50 charged by ElevenLabs Scribe v2 Realtime and Deepgram Flux
- Non-streaming transcription costs $0.10/hour ($1.67 per 1,000 minutes)
The leaderboard covers 33 models from OpenAI, xAI, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Google, Mistral and others, with accuracy-latency-price comparisons available on their site.
