Typesafe (with @huntlovell) released Jev, a new kind of classification model that's reportedly up to 200x cheaper and 400x faster than comparable LLMs on classification tasks. LangChain's hwchase17 amplified the launch; teams like Row-Bot are already exploring integrating it for model routing and auto-review of risky commands.
