GitHub Copilot CLI shipped v1.0.87-0 with notable updates:
Added
- User and managed startup defaults for the Auto routing tier, with strict and user-overridable organization policy.
- Consecutive steering prompts combine into one pending message; press Up to recall and edit (including pasted text/attachments). Ctrl+C stops the running turn, Ctrl+Q keeps queued prompts separate, Ctrl+P browses history.
- New worktreePathTemplate setting controls where /worktree, /move, /new create worktrees (supports {repo}, {branch}, etc.).
Improved
- Per-server MCP slow-connection warning thresholds via slowConnectionThresholdMs.
- Live elapsed time for execution subagents in timeline entries.
- Rubber-duck agent enabled for all model families and low-cost session models.
Fixed: Windows sandbox proxies, authenticated proxies, resuming very large sessions, and /keep-alive false reports on WSL/containers.
