Agent company Cua open-sourced CUA-S1-FORMS, the first in its family of "System One Models" — tiny specialized models for computer use. It scored 99.7% on Cua's form-filling eval, beating hosted Jev's 83.6%.
Highlights:
- Only 706K parameters and 2.8MB, runs locally in under 1GB of RAM
- Fast enough for single-pass decisions
- The vision: every repetitive computer task (forms, CRM updates, data entry, browser actions, document routing, UI decisions) gets its own tiny specialist, with one powerful agent routing work between them instead of calling a giant LLM for every micro-action
