Xplor, an open-source "Grok-native" browser, released v0.8.13 with a security update to Chromium 153.0.8010.53 for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
Core idea: instead of a chat sidebar, Grok drives the browser —
- An agentic side panel that opens and organizes tabs, browses for you, with live reasoning;
- Auto-organized, topic-named tab groups;
- Scheduled and background tasks running in hidden tabs;
- A "Grok it" button on every page to summarize, fact-check, explain, or turn a page into an app;
- Grok Build: describe an app in plain words, Grok writes it and runs it live in a tab with chat-based iteration.
Built on Chromium, compatible with all Chrome extensions, free and open source.
