Yann LeCun amplified @PessimistsArc's observation that when an AI Godfather warns AI will kill us all it gets global press coverage, while the other Godfather saying it won't gets one article in France.
LeCun added a jab: Dario Amodei was already claiming GPT-2 was too dangerous to open source back in 2019. "I made fun of them then. Everyone should make fun of them now."
