HangON builds a voice-first intake desk on AssemblyAI's Voice Agent API
AssemblyAI · x · 2026-09-19
HangON is a voice-first front desk for ops teams, service desks, and community programs. Instead of optimizing for form-field collection, it preserves caller intent: callers explain requests naturally, the system asks only workspace-configured questions, and reads back a summary for confirmation before acting — 'I understood you' isn't the same as 'I'm allowed to act.' Architecture: browser mic via AudioWorklet capture into a server-minted AssemblyAI session, built entirely on AssemblyAI's Voice Agent API, hosted on Vercel. A concrete voice-intake product case with a referenceable stack.
