Your sales agent should remember why the prospect said "later"
namanyayg · reddit · 2026-09-19
On memory design for outreach agents: when a prospect says "we're rebuilding onboarding, contact me after launch," the agent must retain the original conversation, date, and condition — not just a "follow up later" label. It should verify whether the condition was met (a launch announcement may not mean the rebuild is done) and show evidence alongside the proposed follow-up; create a review task when unclear. Also handle newer info overriding old plans ("we chose another provider"), stop-contact requests persisting across campaigns, identity correctness (company notes must not become personal claims; similar names not auto-merged), and permission-scoped retrieval. Simple test: same account with and without history should yield different next actions.
