Dreamforce pivot: Salesforce now builds the AI interface for frontline users, not admins

The author's read on this year's Dreamforce (Sep 15–17): Salesforce long built for administrators, but this week it put customer records into Claude, Slack, the Lightning search bar, and a spoken Voice-to-Form flow on Field Service phones (5 new languages in Summer '26). Sellers, service agents, and field technicians no longer wait on admin-built layouts; admins still own security and objects.

Commercially little changed: the Fin close was done, and Slack, Tableau Next, and Agentforce credits were folded into Core/Advanced/Max seats. What changed is who the interface serves first.
