X Users Debate AI Risk: Superintelligence as Negentropic Order, Not Presumed Evil
ctjlewis · x · 2026-09-19
A small debate on superintelligence (SI) risk. Questioning why SI is presumed dangerous by default, @ctjlewis argues that SI is an extremely negentropic entity—highly ordered information compressed from messy, disordered inputs, much like humans. Invoking entropy to claim it will destroy humanity, he contends, makes no more sense than predicting a person will kill everyone because of entropy.
