MonidHQ launches free agent web search, taking aim at Exa and Tavily's $7/1k pricing
gnukeith · x · 2026-09-18
MonidHQ announced a free web search and fetch service for AI agents, positioning it directly against paid search APIs like Exa, Tavily and Brave (around $7 per 1,000 searches): no subscription, no quota. Built with Tiny Fish, the pitch is that humans search Google for free, so agents shouldn't pay either. Reposter gnukeith called it a potential killer of paid search APIs.
