NotebookLM adds real-time chat in ~100 languages, video overviews, free year of Google AI for students

Google is rolling out education-focused updates to NotebookLM: real-time chat with your notes across nearly 100 languages, in-app lecture recording on mobile, interactive study guides and customizable quizzes, and shareable 60-second Short Video Overviews. Eligible college students also get one year of Google AI for free.
