XGEN unveils world-sim prototype: JING interactive model plus DAO shared-world engine
anthara_ai · x · 2026-09-18
XGENlabs announced a technical prototype of its Generative World Simulation system with two components:
- JING (镜): an interactive experience model that, conditioned on actions and observation history, lets an agent navigate, manipulate objects, and communicate from a first-person perspective.
- DAO (道): a computable shared-world engine giving the world memory, rules, and an existence that evolves beyond any individual observer.
On the official WBench leaderboard (as of September 17, 2026), XGEN-JING ranks #1 on the Full split and #2 on the Navi split. A demo video is available.
