Starlink is quietly becoming core rural education infrastructure across Latin America at a scale bigger than most realize:
- Honduras: 10,000 antennas planned across 8,000+ schools, reaching 640,000+ students
- Argentina: 6,000 kits + 24 months of service for rural schools; 1,300 schools connected in Córdoba, 300 sites in Neuquén, 300 in Catamarca, 213 in Mendoza, 120 antennas in Chubut
- Bolivia: 4,500 antennas planned in the first national phase, including 1,000 across 86 municipalities in La Paz
- Paraguay: 1,600 kits planned, 413 school installs already done
- Colombia: 560 rural educational sites in Antioquia + 19 new installations in La Guajira
Schools that would wait years for fiber can get high-speed internet almost immediately via satellite.
