Napster Returns as an AI Platform, Partnering with Dubai's Gems Education to Clone Teachers

Napster, the once-notorious music-sharing service, has pivoted to AI education after being acquired by Infinite Reality in 2025 for $207 million and shutting down its streaming service in January. The company signed a strategic partnership with Dubai-based Gems Education to build AI agents and digital teacher personas for classrooms, and is setting up a regional hub in Dubai led by Middle East CEO Samuel Huber, formerly founder of Landvault.
