Virtual Biotech runs 37,075 parallel AI agents to scale drug discovery like a research org
bravo_abad · x · 2026-09-18
Virtual Biotech mirrors the division of labor of a real research organization: a virtual CSO decomposes questions, specialized agents handle genetics, single-cell biology, safety, pharmacology and clinical trials, and a scientific reviewer agent rejects incomplete analyses for another iteration. To curate clinical-trial outcomes it assigned one agent to each of 37,075 Phase II/III trials, running them in parallel and finishing in about 6 hours — a job a single agent would take far longer to complete.
