AI researcher: generative models will do to math what recording did to music

AI researcher Amin Karbasi draws an analogy: recording separated music from place, letting one person create for millions; generative AI is now separating music from the musician. He argues mathematics will follow the same path — new theorems, proofs, and even entire fields will be generated on demand, transforming math from a pursuit created and consumed by the few into worlds anyone can explore.
