Neuroscientist Anil Seth announces that his full collection "Conscious AI and Biological Naturalism" is now out in Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS), after years in the making.
The issue includes fifty commentaries from scholars offering broad, deep perspectives on whether silicon digital systems can be conscious. Seth remains highly skeptical about the prospects for conscious AI, but says engaging with the commentaries was one of the most rewarding experiences of his professional life.
