Dwarkesh Patel warns that during recursive self-improvement, labs may stop deploying models externally—charging ahead on the most dangerous use case while the public stays in the dark, leading to tremendous power concentration. Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue endorsed the view, calling concentration of power in a few labs the biggest risk in AI.
