Figure ships Helix 2.5, tested on 30 never-seen homes with zero prior data

Figure released Helix 2.5, its robot foundation model, and stress-tested generalization by renting 30 homes in the Bay Area that the team and robots had never entered—collecting no data beforehand and letting robots tidy living rooms, fold towels, and make beds cold.
On long-horizon, multi-step tasks, Helix 2.5 shows whole-body self-correction: when it errs or gets blocked, it steps back to readjust stance, changes angles, or walks around the entire bed to fix a corner of a sheet. Figure attributes this ability to recover from mistakes and continue the task to its Index pretraining.
