Legal tech company Clio has hired former Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget Mary McCormack as general manager, judiciary — a rare move from the highest levels of the judiciary into legal tech. She will lead Clio's growth across courts, judicial officers, and dispute resolution partners, working alongside Casetext co-founder Pablo Arredondo, who joined last month from Thomson Reuters.

McCormack spent nearly a decade on the Michigan Supreme Court, including four years as Chief Justice, overseeing the state court system and championing modernization. CEO Jack Newton framed the hire as part of Clio's long-term ambition to shape the infrastructure of modern legal work.
