UHAS demos UHAS visualization: one deformed sphere drives five different dexterous hands

YuXiang_IRVL · x · 2026-09-18

The UHAS robotics team released a live visualization of their dexterous manipulation method: instead of outputting joint angles, the policy deforms a canonical sphere, and the shared deformation is mapped in real time to Allegro, LEAP, Shadow, MANO, and Wuji hands with entirely different kinematics. Dragging a driving plane on the sphere makes all five hands move in coordinated poses at once, intuitively showing cross-hand generalization.
