Claimed GPT-6 Astra rapidly adapts to new robot embodiment, learns cake-to-air-fryer task

A third-party demo claims GPT-6 Astra can rapidly adapt to a new robot embodiment and task: putting a cake into an air fryer using simple tool APIs with CuRobo-based motion planning. Initial attempts were chaotic, but after repeated interaction the system accumulated environment-specific experience and reliably completed the task end to end — generalization the authors say goes far beyond VLAs and WAMs. Unverified, not an official OpenAI announcement.
