Simon J.D. Prince announced that Understanding Deep Learning (MIT Press, 2023) is now available in Japanese, published by Asakura Publishing in two full-color volumes. Volume I (256 pages, out Sep 18, 2026) covers supervised learning through Transformers and graph neural networks. The textbook was already available in Russian, Chinese, and Korean.
