Huawei rotating chairman David Wang announced at Huawei Connect in Shanghai that the company will launch two new AI semiconductors in 2027, as it builds out its AI computing business to challenge Nvidia.
Huawei also revealed its capacity constraint: "Since we don't have enough capacity to even satisfy the demand in China, we don't have a plan to expand into the international market in a fully-fledged way," Xu told reporters — indicating chips remain supply-constrained and China-focused.
