Brendan McCord announced the launch of Cosmos Ventures, a fund backing "philosopher-builders" founding institutions for the AI age — "most generations inherit their world; some must build it anew."
Stanford's Seth Lazar endorsed the launch, noting that almost every cool company he sees building a safe, decentralised AI agent economy where agents act in people's interests turns out to be seeded by McCord and his circle.
Signal worth watching: governance and value alignment of the AI agent economy is becoming a dedicated early-stage investing theme.
