LLM Studio: free Android app runs LLMs offline, generates images and turns your phone into an AI server
Miserable_Bird5822 · reddit · 2026-09-18
A developer released LLM Studio, a free Android app for running AI models entirely on-device:
- Offline LLM chat — download or import models (GGUF supported), no cloud needed
- Phone as AI server — built-in API to connect your own tools to the on-device model
- Local image generation via supported diffusion models
- On-device benchmarks for load time and generation speed, plus automatic runtime tuning
It also ships a model catalog, GGUF import, chat history, and interactive HTML/CSS/JS previews. The app is free with ads in the catalog and no IAP; performance depends heavily on your phone's RAM, especially for image generation.
