Stanford's Marin open lab has kicked off its 'hero run,' training the open 535B-parameter (23B active) Marin 535B-A23B model on CoreWeave compute with tracking public via Weights & Biases. Percy Liang shared the live training progress, inviting others to do the same — a ten-person lab showing how a 535B model actually gets built.
