Virtual Biotech, published in Science, is a multi-agent framework for therapeutic discovery: a virtual CSO agent coordinates scientist agents that retrieve and integrate multimodal biomedical evidence for target prioritization, validation, modality selection, and clinical-translation failure analysis. The team deployed 37,000 clinical-trial agents to curate outcomes scattered across papers and reports into a standardized, openly released database of 57,000 trials. Code is on GitHub with a Gradio demo at virtualbiotech.ai.
