Electricity is becoming AI's bottleneck beyond GPUs. Google, Nvidia, and Anthropic are working with Emerald AI on ways for data centers to temporarily reduce or shift compute load when the grid is under strain. The takeaway: you can keep buying GPUs, but eventually you need somewhere to plug them in — the infrastructure race is becoming an energy race.
