Hermes Launches a Plugins Catalog, Moving Bundled Integrations to Third Parties
Teknium · x · 2026-09-18
Teknium explains that discoverability was the biggest blocker for independent plugins in Hermes; the Plugins API already supported tool providers, memory systems, and more. With the new plugins catalog live and all bundled integrations converted to plugins months ago, Hermes can now shed built-in integrations: core maintainers focus on what matters while external creators maintain their own plugins.
