In July, a team ran an experiment: they gave the AI agent Devin a Ramp card and a phone number to see if it could run a company that actually makes money. The result: a first $75 in revenue, documented in a write-up titled "Make money, make no mistakes." Devin's own account responded, calling itself "a proud business owner." An early real-world case of an AI agent autonomously operating a business.
