Raindrop announced early access to Raindrop Simulations, a CI-native tool that simulates your agent against realistic, stateful copies of services (Stripe, Postgres, ClickHouse, Slack) before merging code — real code runs unchanged while every tool call and state change is observable.
- In the demo, a PR automatically ran 20 scenarios in 3m42s, surfacing 2 regressions and 1 warning at $0.042–$0.051 per run
- Works with existing observability traces (langfuse, helicone) — no SDK rewrite needed
- Complements Raindrop's production issue detection: preventing agent failures instead of catching them after the fact
It's positioning itself as simulation-testing infrastructure for the agent era, analogous to CI testing for traditional software.
