Anthropic redesigns Claude Projects into an orchestrator running parallel cloud threads

Anthropic announced a major redesign of Claude Projects, turning them from folders into a single conversation where Claude scopes requests, delegates work to parallel threads, reviews outputs, and assembles results — with threads continuing in the cloud after you log off, and steering possible from your phone.
The beta is rolling out to select Pro and Max subscribers using cloud sessions in Claude Code, with broader access across Claude coming soon; existing projects keep working as-is.
