Grok Build adds cross-session memory: project conventions auto-written to markdown
minchoi · x · 2026-09-18
Grok Build now has cross-session memory, remembering your codebase, commands, conventions, decisions, and project facts.
- After each turn it writes project conventions and decisions to markdown
- Next session reads those notes before touching related code, so agents stop starting from zero
- Commands: /memory browse and /dream consolidate; enable with GROKMEMORY=1
- Suggested flow: /new → work a turn → check /memory → run /dream when notes pile up
