Grounded SI (via BitRobot) launched the Grounded API, a tooling layer that turns robot-captured data into training signal, complementing its data-capture hardware. Lambda CEO Stephen Balaban quote-shared it with a bit of trivia: Lambda's first hardware product back in 2013 was a baseball cap with a camera embedded in the brim to gather datasets for image recognition CNNs — an early echo of today's robot data collection.
