According to Stephanie Palazzolo's AI Agenda newsletter, OpenAI is close to solving another Millennium Prize problem: the Hodge Conjecture.
The report notes the announcement could take extra time, as the company works out how to navigate its rocky relationship with the math community. If confirmed, it would be another landmark AI breakthrough in frontier mathematics.
