GPT-6 Astra beats Pokemon in 18 hours, then farms potatoes after one Minecraft Creeper mishap

According to The Decoder, OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra shows a sharp jump in video game performance: it completed Pokemon FireRed in 18 hours instead of the previous 96, and also finished Factorio, Fallout 3, and Portal.
The key driver is the model's ability to distill experience into compact rules. But the same trait backfired in Minecraft: after a Creeper explosion, it spent hours farming potatoes instead of making progress, exposing a rigid rule-following failure mode.
